Happy July 4th America! Happy Birthday Ashland!
July 6, 2008
Did I hear you say something?
Did you say PARADE?
Let’s go!?!
Pick me up, Daddy, I can’t see from down here!
Are we in Mayberry? Nope! We’re in Ashland for their July 4th Parade!
One day I’ll ride in it, too.
Daddy’s family stayed at the Henry Clay Inn when Mommy and Daddy got married!
I love doggies.
These old people were TOO FUNNY. They were marching with their lawn chairs…
…and they did TRICKS! and choreographed lawn chair dance routines!
Only in Ashland will you see parakeets in a parade.
Or a dog like this.
How great it feels to take a load off after a busy parade.
I love my pool!
I’d kick my heels if I had better balance!
Can’t catch me!
I wanted to see Grammy’s flowers up close.
I still have time for more playing!
Look out, Granddaddy, I’m going to knock down the tower you built.
I don’t believe in stacking. It is rather overrated.
After a long, busy day, it is so nice to enjoy a meal with my family! Three cheers for the chef!
Night Night Great Granddaddy, see you again real soon!
Night Night Grammy! Kissy kissy.
I need to catch up on my reading since I’ve been away for a few days.
Home sweet home.
Happy Daddy’s Day!

You talkin’ smack? Are you? You think I don’t have mad skills? You think I can’t push a lion?
What do you call this?
Or this?
Or that.
Ready for more?
I’ve got more.
I’ve even got an add-on. Look at my froggy. He wants in.
SHOTGUN!
You can’t see it very well, but my stuffed bird wanted a ride, too. All aboard?
Unfortunately the frog jumped out too quickly. Remember Frogger?
I challenge you to find a better lion-pusher than me.
For Daddy’s Day, my Daddy wanted to show me the highest point in Washington.
Nope, not Mt. Rainier! Fort Reno Park in DC!
Tourist photo opportunity of me on the marker!
Enough of that.
Happy Daddy’s Day!
Pool Party!

Catching Up…
June 21, 2008
Mommy was hogging the computer in May so I couldn’t post… Here are the ones I finally was able to publish.
Daddy’s Reunion
June 11, 2008
Daddy took me back to his college reunion. Aren’t the gardens pretty?
I didn’t nap on the drive up, but when Mommy put me in the car after the first day, zzzzzzzzzz.
I like hotels b/c I’m closer to seeing out of the windows than at home.
And I can kiss the cute baby in the mirror.
I got to see The Godfather - Nick. He gave me a stylin’ headband. It didn’t look that cute in my pink dress.
But once I got on my P-rade uniform, I was ready to strut my stuff.
Look out P-rade. Here I come.
Someone called this “pregaming,” but I didn’t ever see a game.
Nick’s costume was more personalized than mine.
Let’s walk in the P-rade!!!
What a fun weekend - and it wrapped up with some love from sweet Carolyn. I can’t wait until the 15th reunion!
Birthday Girl!
June 9, 2008
My birthday party was on Saturday, and I got to eat cupcakes!!! Wow were they yummy.
Margaret made ‘em. Margaret rules. Look how pretty the table looked for my “cupcakes and cocktails party.”
It was a ridiculously hot and humid day - I was so grateful that folks braved the heat. Can you tell from the pic how gross it was outside? It was like a swamp outside…
Fellow party animals.
Casey and Juan were sweet to join us. I adore Juan but I’m looking at him really funny in this pic.
I’m posting this pic for two reasons. 1) Mira looks cute. 2) Can you see that I grew some hair the night before my party?
I don’t mean to play favorites, but the Sharps gave me a kitty, and ohmygolly, I haven’t put it down since!
Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!
I am ONE!
I had CAKE! I offered some to Daddy.
Click here to take a walk down memory lane, no pun intended.
What a year!!!
(We’ll update the past month over the next few days - apologies to my fans for the hiatus.)
I go out walking (but not after midnight).

Look at me go!
Down Semi-South
May 21, 2008
I have to get all washed up for my big trip to Ashland!
Here I am! My home for the next few days.
I can’t get enough of bananas. I call them apples. Don’t judge me, thank you.
I love my Grandma Mills’ garden. I just wish she were here to show me around. Yesterday I saw a snake eat a cameleon in the garden. It was cool and gross.
I finally got to meet Ellie and Coleman! Hey guys!
Ellie is awesome. She is super cute and was a great hostess (like her Mommy).
Ellie’s Mommy is very talented - she can do so many things at once. Look at her multi-task!
Grandma Coleman is so sweet. She loves her grand-kiddos!
Can I drink my yogurt instead of pose? Ellie doesn’t want to pose either.
I have different bath toys in Ashland. I get to read in the bath there. It is the best!
Can I go outside please?
SOMEONE! ANYONE! LET ME OUTSIDE! NOW! GOLLY!!!
Daddy, I think you’re supposed to give the bread to the ducks, not to me.
I heart swinging.
I especially love swinging when I can swing beside Lilly!
We had fun at the park with Lindsay, Seth, and Lilly!
One must be as comfy as possible when enjoying a bottle.
I got to see the farmer’s cows next door again!!!
And I got to see Lisa! We had brunch at a yummy spot near her house - so fun! It is always a treat to see sweet Lisa.
Last but certainly not least…drum roll…I saved the best for last…I got to see GG and Great Granddaddy!
Granddaddy helped me navigate. We had a blast!

Guess how old I am?
Haha! I won’t show you the sheet of paper with the answer.
I’m still working on my poker face, so I’ll cover it up!
Still curious?
Yep! I’m eleven months old! Can we stop this when I turn one, please?
See ya.
This is the only pic we have from Mother’s Day! Daddy is reading me my baby book!
